IFLA Children Scheme Panel
August 4, 2016 Posted by: WebBoxAn alphabetical list of the accredited family practitioners available to conduct arbitrations under the recently-launched IFLA Scheme for the determination of certain child-related disputes is now available online at IFLA.org.uk /search-for-an-arbitrator.
A number of Child Scheme arbitrators are also qualified to undertake Finance Scheme arbitrations, and their dual qualification is shown.
Additional names will be included on the Children Panel listing from time to time.
To establish whether a child-issues dispute is within the scope of the IFLA Scheme consult rule 2.2 of the Children Rules. In reaching their decision IFLA arbitrators only apply English law (see rule 3), and when determining any question relating to the upbringing of a child the child’s welfare is the arbitrator’s paramount consideration.
